Ely is a small town in the Fens which is dominated by one of the biggest Cathedrals in Great Britain. You can't make a step in Ely without seeing this huge building above your head.

It was built from 1083 to 1351 and is said to have an amazing interior - unfortunately they wanted a lot of money for the entrance, so we decided to stay outside. We only wondered what to do if we were religious people who want to go inside for praying...
