During our holiday I take you on a trip through the "Ruhrgebiet" (area around the river Ruhr) which was well known in the seventies for its enormous industrial facilities. The air was dirty and dusty, not much green to see.
Nowadays the Ruhrgebiet is full of green and beauty as you might have seen in many photos here.

This serie shows the different aspect: it was taken out of the fast moving car on one of the biggest and most busy motorways in the Ruhr area, the A2 beween Oberhausen and Dortmund. I tried to catch those signs of heavy industry and processed it in some "old" style.
