Yes, the new lense has arrived today. It is a Minolta 2.8/50mm Macro, first edition from 1985... And I already love it. It seems that the money spent for more DOF is worth every singe cent :-)

Since it was raining all the afternoon and I didn't want to get the camera too wet I did only a few test shots in the garden. This came out on a honey bee balancing on the quite small blossom of a salad plant.
